DELSU Journal of Educational Research & Development (DJERD) is a publication of the Faculty of Education, Delta State University, Abraka. The Journal has a policy of continuous publication, in which case, articles are posted online as soon as they have been reviewed and accepted and payment made by the author. Print version of published papers will be made available twice yearly, in June and December. The Editorial Board accepts scholarly and original contributions to research and development in education and other related disciplines that are theoretical and empirical.
The articles submitted to this Journal are subjected to blind review by our seasoned and renowned scholars who are versatile in research.
The Faculty of Education is the oldest Faculty in the Delta State University which started in 1985 when the University was still under Bendel State University, Abraka Campus.
As at the time the Abraka Campus of the Bendel State University Became a full fledged University (Delta State University, Abraka) in August, 1992, Professor E. A. Arubayi became the pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Education. .
